Service boundary
This page gives the product build a clear operating boundary. It should be legally reviewed before public launch.
What Receevd does
- Helps UK small businesses manage professional follow-up for overdue invoices.
- Sends written reminders on behalf of the customer where authorised.
- Makes scoped payment-status call attempts where included in the customer plan.
- Records responses, payment promises, disputes and unresolved outcomes.
- Creates an Escalation Pack so the business can decide whether to escalate.
What Receevd does not do
- Receevd is not a debt collection agency.
- Receevd is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
- Receevd does not provide litigation, bailiff, court-based or solicitor services.
- Receevd does not guarantee payment.
- Receevd does not collect, receive or hold payments on behalf of customers. Payments must be made directly to the business named on the invoice using payment details approved by that business.
- Receevd does not resolve contractual disputes.
- Receevd does not use threats, pressure tactics or misleading representations.
Suitability and refunds
Payment is taken before submission. If Receevd determines that a case is unsuitable before any follow-up work begins, Receevd should offer either a refund or a credit toward another eligible invoice.
Disputes
If the invoice contact raises a genuine dispute, Receevd pauses the normal follow-up sequence, records the issue and reports back to the customer. The business remains responsible for deciding how to handle the dispute.
